The Architect

JD Files #003 – John "JD" Dunn has learned that some secrets survive because somebody chooses to keep them alive. But when a murder in Brussels exposes the trail of a man who officially died years earlier, JD is drawn into an investigation with no clear authority, no recognised chain of command, and no certainty about who is really pulling the strings. As forgotten obligations, erased operatives, hidden financial structures, and decades-old intelligence systems begin to reconnect, JD discovers that the Black Ledger was never simply a record of the past. It was built to preserve something governments could not be trusted to remember. At the centre of it all lies The Architect — a name JD initially believes belongs to a hidden network. The truth is far more dangerous. The Architect continues the JD Files saga with a deeper exploration of loyalty, responsibility, secrecy, and the hidden machinery that survives long after the people who created it have disappeared.Available February 2027 as a Kindle eBook download or paperback with free courier delivery.
